ABOUT THE SESSION

Join this interactive session to learn about exciting future plans in 195 District Park! This green space right across from us at 225 Dyer Street on either side of the Michael Van Leesteen Memorial Pedestrian Bridge has become the heart of our neighborhood and a space for convening the community.  Jeremy Duffy, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of The Guild Brewing, and staff from the I-195 Redevelopment District will present about what’s to come including the new food and beverage pavilion breaking ground in 2024, answer questions, and  hear more from the community!

About 195 District Park

195 District Park is a seven-acre waterfront park in Providence’s 195 Redevelopment District, a growing mixed-use innovation district built on former highway land. The park is a public-private partnership supported in part by property owners in the District.

About the I-195 Redevelopment District

The 195 District is responsible for redeveloping a stretch of former highway land in Providence with a goal of creating a thriving innovation district and reknitting the communities that were separated by an elevated highway.

About The Guild Brewing

The Guild has 3 locations including Pawtucket, Warren, and Providence. The PVD Beer Garden will soon be a part of the new food and beverage pavilion in 195 District Park! Their brewing cooperative, Isle Brewers Guild (IBG), is a partner brewery that works with established mid to large-size craft breweries from New England and across the country, looking to expand their capacity, sales and distribution.
