Co-Founder/COO – KANU

Andrew is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Kanu. Kanu is an educational tool that empowers student entrepreneurs to launch small-scale ventures on their campus. Since the company’s founding in 2018, he has managed operations, communication, and product development.

 

Andrew was recently featured in Providence Business News, AmericanInno, and selected as an attendee to USASBE 2020, 2021, and 2022 conferences for Interdisciplinary & Experiential Entrepreneurship Education. At USASBE 2022, KANU was selected as a finalist for the 3E Awards (Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education Awards).

The Future of... FinTech Data Analysis
Suraj Sait and Morgan Prior currently intern at Marstone, Inc., a leading provider of digital investing solutions. During their internship, they chose to analyze trends in user behavior related to risk tolerance questionnaires using a variety of statistical tools. Using their analysis, they then explored classification of users by persona and built a predictive model for classifying users by risk level. In this presentation, Suraj and Morgan will highlight their key findings, as well as the data science concepts which underpin them.
