for studies in both disciplines, all from Brown University. He is a past Adjunct Professor for the Computer Science Department of the University of Rhode Island, and currently an Adjunct Professor for the Division of Engineering at Brown University. Courses he has taught are Product Design, Analog Electronics Design, Digital Electronics Design, and Communications Systems, all for the School of Engineering.

While Dave has academic credentials, he also has a career full of commercial design experience. Previous to starting BCA, he worked for Motorola, several start-up companies, and served on the technical staff at Brown University. His experience ranges between Unix systems programming, embedded systems programming, high-speed digital design, and analog design. Since co-founding BCA in 1990, he has designed and managed the design of dozens of products.
