Michael Burtov is the founder and CEO of GeoOrbital. He is able to help with gauging product-market-fit, go-to-market strategy, as well as team-building and fundraising. Mike has been the founder and CEO of 4 companies (2 failed, 2 thrived) and has over 15 years’ experience in starting-up and seeing companies through their lifecycle. For his companies he has raised funds in every possible way including angel investors, angel groups, Incubators, VC, customers, Crowdfunding (raising over $2M by Product and Equity), and even appeared on ABC’s SHARK TANK to pitch to celebrity investors. Mike is also a winner of the 2018 Edison Award and was named one of the Top Inventors of 2016 and one of the “most dynamic and creative people shaping business today,” by the Upstart Business Journal.

Venture: Data analytics that converts complex health care data into transparent, actionable and meaningful insights.
About the Founder
Shannon Shallcross is an analytics strategist who believes that data interpretation holds the key to solving healthcare’s toughest challenges. She has served as an executive in the insurance and health industries over the past decade and has advised a broad range of Fortune 500 clients. As the co-founder and CEO of BetaXAnalytics, her company uses the power of data science “for good” to improve the cost, transparency, and quality of healthcare. The company has built a custom data analytics platform as well as tools to measure population health, waste, medication adherence, as well as health risk measures among a variety of disease states. BetaXAnalytics has been named one of “7 Startups to Watch” in 2018 by RI Inno and they are the recipient of the Providence Business News award for “Most Innovative Health and Wellness Company” in 2018. Most notably, they built a tool that uses natural language processing to scan through millions of doctors notes and faxes to identify incorrect patient coding. This technology produced a $1.3 million discovery in corrected HCC risk scores to increase reimbursements for a New York-based ACO. She graduated with a double major in International Business and Management and French from Dickinson College and she has a Master of Science Degree in Insurance Management from Boston University.

Venture: Technology platform to enable a digital interface for local food and beverage vendors.
About the Founder
Matt is the CEO of .CRAVE and co-founder of WhatsGood. After serving 10 years in the U.S. Navy, Matt made the decision to pursue his deep-rooted passion for food and become a chef. In 2014, he left the kitchen to found a food technology and marketing company called Crave Food Systems, after much heartache and pain while trying to source his ingredients locally. Matt’s leadership experience and innovative talents have helped him build a team of now more than 25 and world-class mobile eCommerce technology. Venture: Bioinformatics technology designed to create multi-herb formulations targeted at modifying the genomic signature for Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Type2Diabetes and Arthritis.
About the Founder
Leena Pradhan-Nabzdyk is the Founder and CEO of Canomiks. She is an accomplished life science professional and faculty member of Harvard Medical School with extensive experience in developing alliances between industry and academia and spearheading multi-disciplinary projects in the fields of diabetes, cardiovascular, and allied areas. She has translated this expertise into the founding of Canomiks where she has led the curation of a database depicting the association of 250 different herbs with expression of~24000 genes. Using our proprietary GeneTune® bioinformatics technology Canomiks has designed multi-herb formulations targeted at modifying the genomic signature for Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Type2Diabetes, and Arthritis. Canomiks formulations are positioned to support the management of chronic conditions and improve quality of life.
